NHL System 2008

Postby mariusrec on Fri Dec 12, 2008 5:14 pm

Last year i had a nice NHL System.

This year i will start it again, here.It will be the 3rd consecutive year in which i will try this system.Until now it has been profitable. The profits weren't big as i played with small sums, more for the purpose of testing it.
If this year the system will again prove to be profitable, i will then start using it with higher stakes.

Here is a short description of it :

Here is the place where i will start to post all my pick from NHL that are included in the NHL system.
This NHL system works something like the Martingale system but it's not quite like that because we do not double our stake after each losing bet.Our stake depends a lot on the odds offered.
Last season I wrote on other sites how the entire thing works and even posted systems that were all won.

Our starting bank will be 100 units for each system. One unit can be (1 $, 10 $, 100$) or what ever you want it to be.So none of you will have any problems in following the picks with the right odds exposed here, i will be using only 3 bookmaker where i will place my bets in real life and so i suggest you have accounts with all 3 so you can follow my picks.

Also do take in consideration the fact that i am not a NHL expert all my picks are part of the system and are based on statistics rather than knowing the sport that well.

The text above is from last year.
I haven't decided on the 3 bookmakers i will use, but i can say that Pinnacle will surely be one.

And as usual, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to post.

So, i decided to go with the following bookmakers.

Pinnacle - [500 $ sing up bonus]
Gamebookers - [25 GBP Deposit bonus] or Party Bets - [25 GBP Deposit bonus]
Expekt - [75 EUR deposit bonus]

I also do have some other backup bookmaker, like Ladbrokes or Centrebet, but most of the times they apply betting limits to bettors with high stakes.

Today we start our first NHL System for this season.

As always, i have to say, remember that we need a bankroll of 100 units (1 unit can be worth whatever you want, 1 $, 2 $, 5 $.

NHL System no.1 (Montreal Canadiens)
Step 1
CAR Hurricanes - MON Canadiens

Pick : MON Canadiens win (does not include overtime)
Odds : 2.04 @ Pinnacle [500 $ deposit bonus]
Stake : 3 units

This system is based in the Montreal Canadiens team. They have to get a win sooner or later.
If tonight they fail to win we go to the second step of the system on the 19th of December when they play at home with the PHI Flyers.

NHL System no.1 (Montreal Canadiens)
Step 2
MON Canadiens - PHI Flyers

Pick : MON Canadiens win (ML = money line, does include over-time)
Odds : 1.85 @ Pinnacle [500 $ deposit bonus]
Stake : 4 units

If the Canadiens are to lose again we move on to step 3 of the system on the 21th of December when the Canadiens host the BUF Sabres. In this case we will still have 93 units left in our bankroll.

So, the Canadiens won last night at home against the Philadelphia Flyers with a 5-2 score.

That means that our first system is a winner from the second step.

Let's see.

At the start of the system we had a bankroll of 100 units.
We invested 3 units in the first step.We lost that bet, but still had a 97 units bankroll.
In the second step we invested 4 units and won.
4 units * 1.85 (odds for the second step) = 7.4 units.
From the 7.4 units we take out the units invested in the two steps (3 in the first step and 4 in the second) and that leaves us with a total net profit of 0.4 units.

It's not much but a profit is still a profit.

Re: NHL System 2008 - System no.2

Postby mariusrec on Sun Dec 21, 2008 1:56 pm

Today, it's time to start system no.2. I wanted to get some action yesterday, and would have been grate if i have done so, but it's all too late now.
So, here we go.

Today we have the SL Blues hosting the BOS Bruins.

We will start a system based on SL Blues to lose.

NHL System no.2 (SL Blues)
Step 1
SL Blues - BOS Bruins

Pick : BOS Bruins win (does not include overtime)
Odds : 2.00 @ Expekt - [75 EUR deposit bonus]
Stake : 4 units

If the Bruins fail to win against the Blues today we continue our system with 96 units left. Our second step would be on the 24th of December when the Blues travel to Detroit to play the Red Wings.

From the 100 units bankroll, as you can see, today, we'll be investing 4 units.

Well, system no.2 is a winner from the very first step.

The Boston Bruins won last night 6-3 against the St. Louis Blues.

That mean a total net profit of 4.00 units for System no.2; and a total net profit of 4.40 units from both systems so far.

We'll start system no.3 in the next couple of days. :)

Time to start our 3rd nhl system.

Tonight we have plenty of nhl matches. We could even start two nhl systems. But for now let's just keep it simple and smart.

NHL System no.3 (BUF Sabres)
Step 1
BUF Sabres - NY Islanders

Pick : BUF Sabres win (not including overtime)
Odds : 1.70 @ Expekt - [75 EUR deposit bonus]
Stake : 4 units

As always i have to remind about the second step; if BUF Sabres fails to win then we go to the second step of the system on the 31st of December when the Sabres play at home with the WAS Capitals.
