Over 2.5 goals.

This is the one game i expect to see a few goals in this weekend. Being a derby game it should be end to end and having won here already this season in the league cup, Accies will fancy their chances of causing another shock.

But they have lost 5 spl games on the spin now and 13 goals in the last 4. That defence is very weak in the centre back positions and with both being well over 30, theres a real lack of pace.Cross balls are a problem and Hamilton are not the most physical of sides. They are a passing team and deserve credit for trying to play the game in the right way, however theres so many times when Hamilton get caught in possesion and are punished.

They have also gifted quite a few very soft penalties and thats happened when the Accies have been on top.

I do think the Accies have goals in their side, 10 in their 1st 10 games is not bad going for a side who have been promoted. There is some quality in midfield with McCarthy and McArther, players who can shoot from outside the box and support the striker. Ive not seen much of Gibson, the left winger, but he played very well against Rangers so hopefully he can follow that performance up.

Motherwell are a good side for overs, at home anyway. Mark McGhee does expect his side to pass the ball and at times the Well can be very nice to watch. Theres good movement up front and Clarkston looks certain to earn a big money move down south. Murphy is a winger who is improving with every game and we all know if you put in decent delivery, John Sutton will find the net.

McGhee has not managed to sort out his defence though and missed out on a couple of centre back targets in the summer. I think one of their problems is the playing of 2 wide men, its great to watch but it means theres a lot of space for sides to attack when they lose the ball and both Celtic and Falkirk took full advantage of this.

Celtic were 4 up at half time and really, it could have been double that. Motherwell were ripped apart and although Celtic were superb, every goal could have been stopped. Falkirk also made plenty of openings in the game Well won 3-2.

This looks a very exciting game with plenty shots on target from either side, so good value on the overs.

Motherwell v Hamilton over 2.5 goals with canbet at 1.89
