Cardiff Blues vs. Gloucester

This is a super bet on the Blues. Yes they started the season quite poorly and the manager was under huge pressure but a few wins in the Magners league and a quite fantastic performance on day 1 of the HC and all is well again. You could also add a fine win against Sale in the edf but to be fair im not sure how important that was to the english side.

People will say they should win in Calvisano but to get the bonus point win and run in 8 trys makes it the perfect start. The handling at times was excellent, something Cardiff have struggled with in the past, and in Molitika they have a world class player who simply knocks defenders over like skittles.

Gloucester are in and out and up and down, as Gloucester always are. When its a nice day and they are given space to play in they can come up with some superb rugby and hammer almost any side in the world. But theres too many times, more so away from home and often in europe, when they simply cant compete with the physical nature of the game or the intimidating atmosphere.

There will be some crowd at this game and 99 per cent of them will be roaring the Blues on. There is nothing the welshman loves more than beating the english on the rugby field and we seen Ospreys do just that by thrash Gloucester in the same tournement last season.

Im quite surprised the start is only 1 point and to be honest ive a feeling Cardiff will do this by possibly 2 scores or around 10/12 points. They are one of the most passionate sides and supports in world rugby and with Gloucester struggling with set plays once again and lacking in the ugly side of the game, im sure its a home win.
