I expect a busy night for the Russian ref as Celtic simply must not lose this game or they will be playing for the uefa cup 3rd place. The Scottish champions will have to fight for 90 mins and i believe we are going to see a fair bit of needle.

Press reports suggest Strachan is going 4-5-1 and that Hartley will probably come in to protect that very suspect back 4 who are shipping some amount of goals. Aberdeen got 2 at the weekend, Motherwell 2 the week before and Rangers 4 in the derby game. McManus and co are going to have up their game tonight to have any chance.

Even top class keeper Boruc has had a poor start to the season but we know he often saves his best for the CL.

It seems Villarreal are sure they have the points in this one and dont have much respect for Celtics away record. It is dreadful right enough but it has wound the Celtic players up and we are sure to see a very motivated Scottish side tonight who will fight for every ball.

Villarreal have picked up at least 2 yellows in every game they have played this season and that is after a super start of 4 wins in 5. Celtic always pick up yellows and that is sure to continue tonight as they will be under pressure from the 1st whistle. Celtic have to do what it takes to knock the Spanish out of their stride. Pull jerseys, wind them up and most importantly tackle hard. A nice passing game and there is only 1 winner and its wont be Celtic.

There are a number of Hoops players who fly into crazy challenges and can lose their discipline. I will not be surprised if things do not go their way and we see a red card.
