Saracens -9.5
Saracens may not have made a fantastic start to the new season but there were plenty of good signs in last weeks 44-16 win over Newcastle. They ran in 5 trys altogether and played some quality front foot rugby. Obviously they now have a top class manager and having come so close to european glory last season they will be looking to go one better this year and improve in the premiership.
Northampton have 2 very good wins on the board already, over Worcester and champions Wasps. I have to say though that teams who are promoted always put everything into their home games as that is when they have the best chance of taking points. They looked a very tired side at the end of last weeks excellent win over the champions and im not sure they wanted to follow it up with such a tough away fixture.
9 points is a big start in the premiership, ofcourse. But i really like the look of Sarries this year and believe that not only will they challenege they are going to really entertain and run up some very high scores. Its good to see them name exactly the same side for the 3rd week in a row. Northampton did concede over 30 points at Newcastle on their only away trip so far and have lost a number of very soft trys. They dont look very confident with the ball in the air so hopefully we will see them fully tested on saturday.
Robertson is kicking superbly for Sarries. de Kock is controlling it and Ratuvou should get plenty of space in this company to really do some damage. Saracens to turn on the style.
Saracens -9.5 to beat Northampton with will hill at 1.91
Sarries must win by 10.
