Leeds vs. Wigan

I have no idea how bookies can give a start as high as this one after the way both sides played last weekend. Wigan were fantastic in France, hammering the Catalans and putting 50 points on the board. Leeds put in one of their worst performances of the season and were totally outplayed by Saints. One side defended as though their lives depended on it and the other like a pre season game.

Leeds are a side under huge pressure. They have been superb this season playing some of the best rugby league we have ever seen but that means 0 if you cannot do it in the play offs. Wigan, have had a terrible season but having sneaked into the play offs and beaten Bradford and Catalans, they are the side with momentum.

Its unfair but that is the way rugby is.

Noble has a history of upsetting the odds against Leeds. There have been so many times at Wigan and also when he was at Bradford, where he has gone here and got his tactics spot on. He knows exactly how to play them and will make sure his side do everything to cut out Leeds forwards offloading the ball. That way you stop their backs from getting enough ball or stop them playing near your line.

I expect Barrett to have another massive game for Wigan. He was quite superb last week in France and if he can repeat that performance Wigan could even make the final. Wigans defence will be vital though and ive a feeling Gareth Hock, who has had a super season, will be man of the match.
