Marseille vs. Monaco

Usually i like to bet on Marseille for overs as they play some of the best passing football in France but as everyone knows this is a massive game which both sides will be really fired up for. It really would not be a surprise if this game as quite naughty as we all know the history in this fixture and its interesting that the spread on the bookings is around 50 points or 5 yellows. Thats very high.

Stop, start, foul, players pushing and shoving, clock running down as players are trying to pressure the ref is not what you want if you are looking for goals and with the atmosphere in Marseille being so intimidating, im sure thats what we will get.

Monaco are a strong defensive side, they have been for the last few years. Yes they struggle quite badly but they play the offside superbly and are very good at getting guys behind the ball and shutting sides out. In a way a draw here would be like a win given the form of both sides and im sure they would take 0-0 or 1-1 right now. If we look at their results this season so far we have yet to see an over 2,5 game in the French league and that is after 5 rounds of matches.

I do think Marseille will sneak this one by a goal, possibly 1-0 but i am amazed at how good the odds are on offer here for the unders in europes lowest scoring league and in a game where 2 teams dislike each other and will fight for every single ball.
