Catalans -8.5

Play off games are generally tight affairs and many punters would be lumping on any side with a 8/10 point start. But Warrington have hit a quite dreadful run of form and a number of players are taking the field at less than full fitness.

Their last 2 performances against 2 of the bottom sides have been dreadful and thats the reason they have drawn the short straw with a very difficult trip to France. Huddersfield and Cas totally outplayed Warrington and the trys that were lost in both games were far too soft. Over 70 point given up before what many would say is as tough as a trip to Saints or Leeds, not the form you want.

Catalans have possibly not been on top form in the last couple of games. But they could take it easy knowing they had the home play off game and with the crowd behind them, they are sure to be fired right up for this one.

Warringtons worst performance of the season came the last time they travelled to France as they were smashed by almost 50 points. It was a terrible night and to be honest they lacked heart. The heat obviously affected them and they simply couldnt handle mogg and greenshield.

The Dragons have a very strong set of forwards and if you have a couple of guys out or players not 100 per cent, they will roll you right up the middle of the park. They have played some fantastic rugby in front of the supporters in France and with Warrington out of sorts and short on fitness, 8 points does not seen enough.

Catalans-8.5 to beat Warrington with sporting bet at 1.91
