Bath -3.5

Bath got off to a great start with the in over Bristol. An away derby match against a very physical Bristol was hardly the easiest task but Bath won by a distance. 3 of the trys were quality and it looks again as though Bath will have the best options are the back of the rucks in the entire premiership. They love to entertain and are a very dangerous side.

Gloucester were a huge let down last week against Leciester. You could say they should still have won and butchered 2 clear trys by trying to be too clever. But overall it was a poor performance against a side missing so many big names.

Ryan Lamb had a nightmare and he was subbed half way through the second half. He missed a number of simple goal kicks which are vital in such a tight competition, and in general kicked pooly in open play. His confidence seems shot and as the most important player in the team, this is a big worry for Gloucester.

Bath have a fantastic record in this fixture and at home in general. They played some superb rugby early in the season last year and i expect them to start in the same manner. 3 points does not seem a lot to cover as once again Gloucesters set plays were hopeless last week and if you give Bath enough ball, they will tear you apart.

Bath -3 to beat Gloucester with stan james at 1.91
