Newcastle have a hugh injury list for this match and all their big name strikers will miss the game. Owen, Viduka, Martins, all out and they were hardly on fire in the premiership anyway. A 1-0 win over a poor Bolton team, theres a lot of work to be done for Keegan.

Coventry boss Chris Coleman has been dealt a blow also with the loss of star striker Freddy Eastmond. Its a shame cos hes been on fine form in the opening weeks of the season, but not so bad from an unders point of view.

The Blues were thumped at home be Barnsley and in my opinion they are one of the weakest sides in the championship. This is a tough job for Coleman and as everyone knows they have lost a lot of players in the last couple of years thanks to mismanagement in the boardroom.

The cup gives them a rest from that though and it is interesting that the manager has said his side must keep Newcastle out. He is a very negative manager, but also very tactically aware and during his time in the premiership often kept the top clubs out with some fine battling displays.

With all the top strikers out and Coventry sure to sit deep, this looks sure to be low scoring.
