Castleford vs. Warrington

The Wolves blew a huge lead over Hull Kr last week but i expect them to hit back today with a good performance at Cas. Theres only 2 games left of the regular season and the Wolves sit joint 4th with Wigan on the ladder. They will be looking to make sure they finish 4th and with a tough game on the final day against Huddersfield, this is their best chance to go clear of Wigan.

Castleford were smashed at Leeds, they just couldnt live with the Rhinos power in the forward line. But to be fair, the Tigers have come up with some fine results this season and although they will finish bottom 6 wins is not a bad total for a side who were promoted.

In fact they did beat Warrington this season and also ran them very close in the 1st match at the Jungle. The win though came when the Wolves were in a rut and just before Cullen was fired.

Its a far different side they will face today.

Forwards win games, and for me Warrington have almost as much power in the middle of the park as Saints and Leeds. Thats why they ran Saints so close a couple of weeks back and managed to beat Leeds at home. Morley is a fantastic player but possibly Warringtons main man this season has been Ben Westwood, he does some amout of work going forward and even more in defence.

Cas dont quite have the forward power just yet, they are still slightly weak in there. If or when, Morley and co get on top, there are countless options for the Wolves at the back of the ruck, on the edges and some real speed out wide. I dont think Cas will be able to stop Lee Briers from taking control of this game and when he does Warrington put plenty points on the scoreboard.
