St Helens -14.5 to beat Wakefield.

Well what more is there to say about St Helens. 16 wins in a row, playing some of the best rugby ever seen in super league and now in the challenge cup final and looking at a possible double.

It is once again a very strong looking squad they have picked and with almost all of their top players fit and possibly most importantly, hungry for success, they can move clear of Leeds who lost last night.

They dont give away pens which is vital in the modern game, they dont lose soft trys, they defend their line superbly, the forwards are making good metres and offloading and their class backs like Long, Pryce and Wellens are on top form. Cunningham controls the ruck every week and on either wing they have pace and strike power.

Saints are on fire at the moment and i would honestly say that for once they could give any NRL side a tough match.

Wakefield were on a dire run and hoping last weeks Challenge Cup semi  would change their season. They came back into that game well and gave it everything but in the end some poor defence in the 1st 30 mins cost them.

I think thats gonna have a big effect on the Wildcats, they are down, feeling sorry for themselves and really did not want to face Saints this week after such a big let down.

This is probably super leagues best attacking side v the worst defending side, and while you get plenty effort for John Kears men i dont think the will be able to stop Sean Long from taking the points, 14s a high start but not for a side playing with the confidence that Daniel Andersons men are.

Saints-14.5 to beat Wakefield with paddy at 1.91
