Under 2.5 goals.
As anyone who watches Irish football will know its not a league for high scoring games and betting on overs. Teams are well organised and tough to break down and im sure that will be the tactics for the Ramblers tonight. This is a big game for the Eircom strugglers and their fans, a chance to show they can compete with the big boys from the premiership. A chance to show the tv audience that Irish football has improved and is not as weak as many believe.
I expect 4-5-1 tactics and everyone behind the ball when they lose it. They have only managed 10 league goals in 20 games so a defensive game is there only chance of an upset.
3 of their last 4 games have been under and only Saturdays match went over, thanks to a last min goal for Bray.
I dont think much of Sunderland to be honest. Last season they were not exciting to watch and theres little flair in the side. Only Derby scored less goals than Keanes side and they were hopeless. Ofcourse it was all about staying up as it will be again this year but they are not an epl side you ever expect to see putting on a real show.
They are well organised ofcourse and will take these games very seriously, as they have previous tours of Ireland. We seen last year that every game Keanes side plays over there is competitive but none of them were high scoring. The pitches are very tight and when one side puts everyone along that 18 yard box its very tough to find space.
Cobh v Sunderland under 2.5 goals with paddy at 2.25
