Hull vs. Wakefield

Hull -4.5 to beat Wakefield.

At last Hull have a full strength side to pick from and they can book their place in the challenge cup final with the win over out of form Wakefield. The Black and Whites were outstanding last week when beating their neighbours and they managed 6 trys, something that has been their problem.

They do have some powerful forwards and they can defend but it was putting points on the board which was their downfall.

Wakefield are on a terrible run and cant buy a win. They do have plenty of class in that backline and a number of players who can create. But if forwards dont make the metres then you are always going to struggle. To be honest Wakefield are too small in certain areas and theres too many of their side who dont fancy a physical battle.

And a Challenge cup semi is sure to be rough and tough, more so in the early exchanges.

I believe Hull have too much power and although Wakefield are sure to get a couple of trys, they simply cant keep them out at the other end. The sides met a couple of weeks back and Hull were easy winners. Craig Hall was the man of the match and got plenty of joy attacking Wakeys right side of defence. I think this time the main man will be Willie Manu. In a season where Hull have been disappointing, hes been exellent every time ive seen Hull. His power on the left hand edge could well see Hull home by more than a couple of scores.

Hull -4 to beat Wakefield with boylesports at 1.91
