St Helens -25.5
Obviously its a lot of points to cover but Saints are on the very top of their form. The 54-0 win over Quins last week was about as close to the perfect performance as you will see. That makes it 10 wins on the spin and 4 heavy hammerings handed out in the last 5. Bradford, Hull Kr, Huddersfield and Quins have all lost by at least 30 points and the other win was at Leeds who were top at that time.
All the big names are on top form and possibly most importantly, when the cap is so high, they are defending superbly.
Castleford got a great win over Hull Kr, their 4th of the season but they still sit bottom of the table. Most of their best performances do come at home and we have seen them taking some big hammerings on the road. Huddersfield, Wakefield and Hull have all thrashed Cas and they sit just above them on the ladder.
I cant see anything other than the same at again on Friday. Saints forwards are unstoppable at the moment. Roby, Cunningham and Graham are laying the platform and when Long and Pryce are given space to play in its impossible to keep St Helens out. Wellens also pops up at exactly the right time to support so im sure he will have a big game too.
Cas put a lot into that game last week and i have a feeling it will have a big effect on their second half performance. With only a short space of time to recover Saints could really pile on the points in the last 30 mins.
Saints -25.5 to beat Cas with pinnacle at 1.92
Saints must win by 26.
