St Helens -14.
Saints are flying at the moment. 9 wins on the spin and a number of them have been by over 30 points. Its the time of year they love, warm weather and perfect pitches. Confidence is sky high and all their big names are at top form. None more so than Pryce who they were able to leave out of the Huddersfield game after playing a big part in Englands win in France.
Quins have lost their last 2 at Wigan and Huddersfield. It was quite worrying how easily they folded at Wigan. In the 1st 25 mins they were they best side and scored 3 trys. But as soon as Wigan got one back the confidence drained right out the side. They gifted a number of trys and to be honest some of the younger players looked a bit scared to take the ball. Not really the kind of form you want leading up to a game with an in form Saints.
I know Quins have a good home record and there will be no question about their effort but i cant see anything other than a heavy beating in this one. Saints won the 1st game at Knowsley road by over 40 points and that was supposed to be them on average form.
Quins are still a bit weak in the forward line and after 2 very tough away games at, Giants who are desperate for points, and Wigan who overpowered them up the middle, they didnt really want to play the leagues form side and possibly the best forwards in the league.
They lose far too many soft trys near their own line and with Cunningham darting from dummy half, id expect him to be the man of the match as Saints run riot.
Saints -14 to beat Quins with bet 365 at 2.00
Saints must win by 15.
