Il take Russia to win.
The Dutch have been very good during the group stages, winning all 3 games. I have to say though that a lot of that was down to just how disappointing both Italy and France were. It was not quite the group of death everyone expected as 2 of of europes big names were a major let down. Italy have Holland to thank for getting through.
Having taken a hammering on day 1 Russia have recovered superbly. I would suggest that from midfield forward they are possibly the strongest side left in this competition, even more so than Holland. They have plenty of pace throughout and the movement is superb. They should have taken half a dozen goals off the Greeks and it was not far from the same story when defeating Sweden.
Ofcourse Holland are strong favs after a great start. But the 3 wins in the groups mean 0 today. They will face a side who are young and play with little or no fear and we will at last see the Dutch defense tested. I am not sure the centre backs can handle the Russians nippy, pacey style, with Arshavin pulling the strings. Remember the Russians have a Dutch coach in Hiddink and he will know exactly how to play this one.
Russia to beat Holland with vc at 5.50
