Sweden vs. Greece

Il go for over 2.5 goals.

Everyone has this game down as quite a dull boring affair with little goal mouth action. Well not me i think this will be a suprise game where we seen plenty of goals and the game of the tourney so far.

If we look at both sides theres plenty of good attacking options in either. It is possible that Sweden have one of the best partnerships over there with Larsson and Zaltan. Both have super movement and without being unfair to Greece they do not like fast players and those big centre backs will struggle with Larsson in particular.

Everyone thinks of the Greece team which won 4 years ago and yes they were boring. But there is far more attacking class in this squad and im sure we will see it. Charistas is fantastic in the air and he should be partnered by Amantadis who is very quick and can finish. They have more shooting power from midfield and better support.  I hope we get to see Samaras at some stage too as although his career went downhill at City he is still a box of tricks who can come up with a bit of magic.

They are not of such a great standard in defence though and i have to say the same about Sweden. It is definately the weak part of both sides as neither enjoys playing pacey forwards.

We have some rain over there which can be a good thing. Speeds the game up and makes defenders slide in and make mistakes too. A quicker game will hopefully mean more openings.

I believe we will get a shock tonight and both these sides will have a real go at it for the points. With Spain looking as though they should take 3 points a draw is not of much use to either and both sides will see the other as the team in the group they can certainly beat.
