Nalbadian vs. Calleri

This bet should be an easy one . Calleri against Nalbandian 2 argentinians fighting for a place . These players should know eachother very well theoretically . Sometimes they  formed a team for Davis Cup and obtained good results .

These players met 6 times , 4 times winning Nalbandian and two times Calleri . Calleri seems better on clay surface with 57 % of the games played on clay and 105-57 ratio win /losses . Looking past Calleri’s career I can see that Calleri is slowly but sure losing form as he is getting older . He has worse and worse ratio of wins on clay by year that passes and his 32 years old should be visible . It should be hard for him to play against today’s youngsters .

Nalbandian remains Federer’s biggest enemy . He is performing wonderful against Federer . Nalbandian is good player on most surfaces and if he will be eliminated here in this stage would be a real surprise . Nalbandian plays more games on hard than Calleri but has good ratio . He is overall better prepared player and with fighting spirit .He has very good record on clay ,74-28 with only two defeats this year from 16 games played .

In last 5 games played on clay he won all first sets .Most of the time usual score is 6-4 . This is the score more probable for this game too as Calleri is good enough to hold his serve . One break advantage for Nalbandian should be enough for him to win first set  |Calleri’s favourite score is 6-4 too . Just one tie-break in 12 sets played should be enough to convince me this game won’t go in tie-break . That is why I go with Nalbandian to win 1^st set 6-3 or 7-5 as Calleri is hard to break usually but he should give up at some point in the set  as Nalbandian runs much more and will cause Calleri to fatigue . To be very sure I go maximum stake on Nalbandian .
