League: Football - England - Blue Square Premier

There are few games left till the end of the season and these teams ended their dreams for this season . York improved their form and managed to place themselves in the middle of the table after very poor start of the season . They can’t be engaged in relegation battle of promotion so , basically this game is just for fun .

Stafford are relegated and they can play free to build a team for next season . This season was very disappointing for them but it wasn’t unexpected relegation as last year they also had trouble . They had poor team and this was clearly shown in their play .

Stafford has 3.03 goals per game in average but most of the goals were scored by opponent teams . They were unable to score many goals , even at home . They have conceded at least one goal in every game ( 94 % ) so is reasonable to expect tonight to be the same .

York is one of the teams that plays attractive football with many goals , averaging 3.18 goals per game . Playing away they conceded at least one goal in 85 % of the games . I know today they have a weak opponent but I am hoping for a good play for the public since is not big stake at risk .

Team news :

Stafford captain Richie Sutton (ankle) is a doubt for the game .Wayne Daniel is on stand-by to replace him, Kevin Street could start but Marco Adaggio (foot) and Dolapo Olaoye (ankle) continue to miss out.

York could make big changes after their 6-1 loss at Crawley on Saturday. Onome Sodje hopes to return to the starting XI and Tom Evans could replace goalkeeper Josh Mimms after he conceded nine goals in his first two games.

Stafford had to play last 3 home games against best teams in the league and they scored few goals . I expect them to perform better and try to score .

My pick :

Stafford – York Over 1.5 goals @ 1.27 Betsson 8/10
