Catania is in really bad shape lately with 5 consecutive defeats . In this rhytm is really hard not to go deep in relegation fight and risk relegating . Actually Catania is really close to relegation places and as they are playing is hard to see an improvement soon .

Milan has just one defeat in last 10 games which means they are clearly improving their form . They got 4^th place in Italy and they intend to keep it .

There might be some good news for Catania regarding this game against Milan . Milan has Kaka unavailable for this game . Kaladze, Pirlo and Jankulovski are tired and might be rested for this game as the coach said . Goalkeeper Dida is out . Inzaghi is expected to return in first team as well as Maldini .

Catania don’t have serious injuries , but Giacomo Tedesco (back) and Japan forward Takayuki Morimoto set to miss out with injury while defenders Cristian Silvestri and Christian Terlizzi have fitness doubts.

I don’t believe Milan will push very hard in this game because they are playing about 2 games per week for a while and they must feel tired . If they could score an early goal I believe they will stay defensive and strike on counter attack .
