Everton vs. Tottenham

Personally i love watching these team play.Especially Tottenham.They always something nice to watch and their style of play gives you the impression that they give 110% out there.

It will be an important match for both team as Everton is on 4th place and every match is crucial for the simple fact that one bad results can lead to a bad run and so they would lose contact with the 4th position on the tables, a place that will lead them to a Ch. League qualif. round.Liverpool ( Liverpool with one match less played )along with Aston Villa and Manchester City are just 1-2 points away and are looking to take the precious Ch. League spot.Even if it is a qualif. round spot, teams like Liverpool will have little problems getting to the group stage.So, this 4th place can be very profitable and the teams know that.The 3 top spots are kind of taken already by Chelsea, Man. Utd. and Arsenal, the only thing that need to be decided on is the order.

So, Everton greet Spurs in this match with the hope of a home win that would sustain them on 4th position.But Tottenham isn't quite the team against whom you can obtain a win so easily.Especially if we consider that they had high hopes for this season, but the bad start kind of killed their chances.But improvement have been seen since the arrival of Ramos ( Sevilla's former couch ).First of all the defense compartment looks to be more stable but still more talented players are needed.In front, Berbatov and Keene seem to be doing a good job, to the best of their abilities.The passing seems to go fine, and it should be the main factor to penetrate the Everton defense.

In the last match, Tottenham had a clean sheet, and if we take a look at the statistics, they show us that Tottenham haven't had two consecutive clean sheets this season.They play Everton, a team with clear offensive qualities thanks to the players that know how to find the goal (Yakubu, Lescot, Johnson); so this makes me thing that Tottenham is likely to concede at least one goal in this match.

One the other side, Everton isn't quite the clean sheet team; just remember the 4-1 loss against Arsenal.You might say what does Arsenal have to do with Tottenham, or that no match resembles one another.It's true, but what i'm looking at is the fact that Arsenal's passing system and good player connections on the fieled is what helped Arsenal win that match.That is a thing that Tottenham has with Berbatov - Keene - Malbranque - Jenas - Lennon, and we should expect at least one goal from Tottenham's part as well.
