Manchester City gave a very good account of themselves when they took on two of the top four in Arsenal and Manchester United over the last two weekends. They were unfortunate with the defeat at Old Trafford while the win against the Gunners was glorious. In fact, with two games played fewer than the top guns, Manchester City can find themselves on top of the standings of they win both of their games in hard starting with the home match vs the Hammers today. It is almost fair to say that Manchester City are almost unbeatable at home over the last couple of seasons and I just cannot see any letting on behalf of the home side.

West Ham have also played some of the big guns in recent weeks and their performances seem to be brilliant but they just dont seem able to obtain the end results. The Hammers have not fared that bad away from home in recent years but the home side is just filled with star studded players and it would be an off day only for Manchester City to go down here. Bellamy seems to be in sparkling form for the home side while the Hammers really lack in depth in their midfield. The versatile likes of Gareth barry and Stephen Ireland will just be too good to expose the hammers' weaknesses.
