The Yankees dominated the Red Sox last night and my prediction was almost spot on, not for the late sympathy runs given to the Sox. The Yankees maanged more than 15 hits as a team and were in cruise control throughout the game. Lester's injury may have played a part in the Yankees victory but even before he did leave the game, the home team hitters were punishing him with some nasty hits. Alex Rodriguez is red hot in form at the moment an dit will be a challenge for him to reach the one hudnred rbis mark with around ten games remaining.

Boston have been poor against the so called big teams in the American League this season. Their record vs the Angels, Yankees and Tamba ahve not been pretty since the All Star break. With CC Sabathia starting this agme for the home side and coupled by the fact that a rusty Matzusaka appearance for the opposing team, the Red Soxs are staring to yet another defeat on the hands of their arch rivals. Go for the Yankees to follow up yesterday's performance with yet another masterclass.
