Blackpool have a genuine chance of progressing to the third round of the cup because Wigan are just plain awful this term. Their squad have since fallen apart with the departure of Steve Bruce and I cannot see where they will be heading to in the near future. Their win at Villa Park was just a fluke as Aston Villa were shifting their attentions to their qualifying match against Rapid Vienna few days later and after that game, they have lost 1-0 to Wolverhampton and 5-0 to defending champions Manchester United.

For me, Blackpool are one of the teams who do not really lose that large sum of games but they do have a high tendency of drawing too many. Both sides are not in outstanding form at the moment and it would almost seem fair only that this game should last the distance. Go for the draw/draw here as based on yesterdays results, many of the matches ended only after extra time.
