The Ravens take their 4-2 record into Buffalo to take on the 1-4 Bills. It seems like a mismatch strictly based on that, but that never means much...as based by the Cowboys display of turnovers in Buffalo two weeks ago. However, this matchup also doesn't suit the Bills well. The Ravens defense is beginning to find it's form after an impressive display against lifeless St. Louis last weekend. They are pressuring the QB well and a rookie QB doesn't seem to be able to help that much...that is just the case here in Buffalo this weekend. The Bills haven't shown many signs of life with the exception of their all but finished upset of the Cowboys, and this week should be on those same lines of not doing too many impressive things. They dont' have a very good coach, they are starting a rookie QB...playmaking WR Lee Evans has gone missing in action to date this season, scoring 0 td's and racking up less than 300 total yards receiving...and their defense hasn't done much positive either. Overall, the mismatch is clear, and the Ravens will enjoy a much needed victory to give them the real feel of a contender in the AFC as they will move their record to 5-2. Buffalo is still riddled with injuries, though the week off should help the overall health of the team. Meanwhile, Baltimore fans can rejoice, as they will head into their bye week next week for some much needed rest all while pondering what a good start 5-2 has been. Baltimore at -3 here.
