The LA Angels are on a good roll at the moment. Four wins consecutively must have solidified their post season birth and they know that every game will be important to them. What impresses me about the Angels is their offence. They have put together large innings many times this season, not forgetting the fact that they along with the Yankees, are the teams with most frequent comebacks in games. As for Minnesota, they are definitely one of the better teams around in the American League but they do face a tough prospect in this series. The only reason why I believe that the Angels are offered higher prices than expected is that the bookies feel that the Twins will try their very best to avoid the sweep.

For the Angels, they will have their ace Weaver on the mound. Weaver though have been very shaky of late. He is giving up many extra base hits at the moment which have caused his era to rise up a little. But I do believe that he will just have the extra edge about himself to edge out Perkins who have struggled at times against stronger offence this year. Perkins is 6-6 in 2009 but his era of 5+ tells us the picture. Go for the Angels to make it five straight.
