During the last weekend, Wales lost 3-1 in Nicosia against Cyprus.Many things were said and written after that match.John Toshack, Wales's manager, even questioned the commitment of some players.And if you ask me, he had all the reasons to do so.That match represented one of the most bad performance Wales has had lately (after the 5-1 home loss in front of Slovakia).I say, just put your self in the couch's position.You know your put there to do a job, even if you don't qualify at least win the matches you can and improve the team's game for the future. At half time Wales was in front but unfortunately for the Welsh players a match of soccer has 90 min and so in the second half Wales conceded 3 goals which cost them the match.They are currently on the 6th position in the Group D EURO 2008 qualif. stage, with only San Marino under them. San Marino is exactly the team they will be facing in this round.I don't know if San Marino can even be regarded as a team, because a serios team does not receive 50 goals in 10 matches and score only one. The first match between these two teams in this qualif. stage ended 3-0 in Wales's favor.I expect something of the same in this match if not a bigger score line.The handicap is 2.75.I'm not placing a large stake here because i do have in mind the fact that after the first match San Marino played at home and lost 13-0 against Germany, both Ireland and Cyprus obtained only a one goal difference win, while the Czech Republic got their 3 goal difference win, in the last minutes. But i just couldn't pass such an odd.The Welsh players have something to prove and a healthy win here could improve the image of the Wales national team after that loss in Nicosia. Also the odds are 1.91,but just went down from 1.96 while i saw writing.GL
