Since the All star break resumed last Friday, the Yankees have picked up seven wins out of seven and more crucial overtaken the lead in the AL East. Initially the Red Sox seem to be in firm control over the division but they have slipped recently, allowing their rivals to pounce on. Even last night's game proved too difficult for the Ace as their better starter could not stop a rampant Yankees team who piled up 8 runs on the board. Joba Chamberlain proved very effective last night by putting on a commanding display which limited the Ace to only one run which actually was in the first inning.

The Ace have accumulated some decent results before this series by scoring a handful of runs against Minnesota. They would not have the comfort in this series as they are facing one of the hotter teams at the moment. Currently, it is fair to say that the Yankees and the Angels are the on form teams in the American League and there will not be any stopping by the Oakland team tonight. Go for the Yankees to win this game.
