Sengkang Punggol have shown vast signs of improvement since Aide Iskandar took over Steinbreinner as the manager of the club. Sengkang have traditionally been regarded as one one of the bottom dwellers of the S League but the injection of funds and money into the club this season have created a buzz about them. However, they have really fell short of expectations and are currently languishing at the bottom of the table. But one thing for sure is that players have responded to the change of managerial personnel. Sengkang still have a genuine chance of finishing in mid table come end of season as the S league is pretty congested in the middle and it is anybody's game over the last third of the remaining fixtures.
