Seattle Mariners vs Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers team did so well until the eighth inning last night when one swing of the bat by a Seattle player changed the lead from 1-0 up to 3-1 down. The loss must be very painful for the Rangers who pitched supremely throughout the game and it was really pitiful that they somehow gave up the game in such a fashion. Nonetheless, the Rangers still remain 7-3 in their last ten games as they will hope to preserve their elad in the AL West going into the All Star break in three games time. You could say that yesterday's result was some what of a typical fashion the Rangers do start series in recent months. In the last few series, they have lost their opening game but rebounded strongly the following day.
Today's game will see Scott Feldman starting for the Rangers. Feldman is one of the league's better pitcher with a 7-2 record and a very respectable record of 3.91 era. Over the last twelve games, Feldman have lowered his era by a great deal. In his last ten games, the right handed pitcher has only failed to make past the fifth inning in one occasion and given the way Morrow will pitch today for the Mariners, I do think that the Texas club will equalise the series at one a piece. Expect experience to tell.
