The Angels continue their series against the Orioles as the latter claimed an unexpected victory at LA last night. Baltimore have really struggled for consistency in this year though and with key injuries hampering them, they are bound to lose some games here or there. I think that scoring wise, the Orioles are good enough to compete with the rest of the league but their pitching is just one of the lousier few. Maybe except Uehara, they do not have any stand out pitchers that will give them long solid outings.

Tonight will see O Sullivan making his forth start in 2009. He was drafted into the rotation because of injury to one of their pitchers and thus far, he has been maximising his opportunities. O Sullivan is 2-0 in three starts and in all those starts, he has lasted past the sixth inning twice. Baltimore's Berksen lost his previous start, making that loss the fourth in his last five. Berken do not have any speciality to strike out pitchers and when he runs into jams, he fails to get out of trouble. Go for the Angels to revenge for their loss last night.
