NY Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays - Baseball - Major League Baseball - Tip Preview

The number of times that the Blue Jays have come up short this season have disappointed me already especially when I had high expectations on them in certain games. When they are cold, the Blue Jays are a woeful team, similarly to the game against the Cardinals when I had tipped them to win; eventually being thrashed by the Cardinals 10-0. The Blue Jays will stand a better chance when Halliday takes the mound tomorrow against Wang but for today's game, I do not think they will live up to expectations again. The Blue Jays are in a division whereby the other three top teams are just a class above the rest of the majors.

Toronto are 17-20 on the road and with the recent improvement of the Yankees offence, I will be going with the home team tonight. Burnett has pitched excellently of late as he awaits his suspension ruling in weeks to come. He limited the Mets to one earned run over strong innings last time out and I just think he will out duel the opposition pitcher, Tallet who has a 5-5 record.
