NY Yankees vs Seattle Mariners - Baseball - Major League Baseball - Tip Preview

After a series of sluggish outing, CC Sabathia have responded well in his last two starts to combined with a total of only six hits and two earned runs allowed to lower his era even further. Last time out against the Mets, he was in cruise control of the game, striking out eight batters in seven solid innings. As for the Seattle Mariners, they have found playing at the new Yankee stadium something very difficult as their pitcher have continued giving up homers to some of their big players over the first two games of the series. Vargas starts for the Mariners here and he owns a 3-3 record and even in his last start, he gave up way too many long balls and that can really hurt in a hitters park today.

In recent weeks, vargas have struggled against the hard hitting Dodgers team and also against the in form Rockies team. At best, he is just a mediocre pitcher who lasts a standard five inning and I really do fear that the Mariners will get swept by the streaking Yankees who have won seven on the trot. Alex Rodriguez too have responded well after being dropped from the line-up for two days in Florida and the form he is going through now, all Yankees fans would want him to play more. Go for the Yankees to win this one sided battle.
