Charleston vs Chivas - Football - USL First Division - Tip Preview

After seeing a chase for one trophy come to an end on Saturday evening with the end of a tough SuperLiga campaign, Chivas USA now begins the road to another when they travel to Charleston, S.C. to take on the USL-1 Charleston Battery in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup third-round match on Tuesday night.Charleston currently sits atop the USL-1 standings with 27 points from 15 games. The Battery have allowed just six goals all season, which ties them for the best defense in the league, and are undefeated at home.The Battery are no strangers to success in the Open Cup. The team finished as runners-up to D.C. United in 2008, knocking off MLS teams FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo along the way, and was a semifinalist in both 1999 and 2004.Chivas USA has struggled recently. The Red-and-White have only one win in their last nine games and haven't won on the road since May 2. Tuesday night will be the fourth game in 10 days for Chivas.But for me after very good game and hard match Chivas will win here by one goal.
