The Phillies still have a half game lead in their division even though they have been in free fall form over the past few weeks. They have lost nine of their last 10 and are really failing to hit the ball out of the infield now. It does not help when their star player Howard is battling with a niggling injury. Although the Phillies do play much better away from home, all statistics will count for nothing if they are playings so badly. The Toronto Blue Jays have regained their form over the last few games, winning four of their previous five and their head to head record against the Phillies is astonishing. Their last four meetings with the reigning world champions have all gone their way.

Even against Tampa Bay, the Phillies could not play to their normal selves and I think having their decent pitcher Happ on the mound will count for nothing if their offence is not going to help the pitcher at all. Happ have gave up some important runs in recent weeks against some of baseball best, such as the Mets and Red Sox and Toronto will provide a stern test for him today.
