Elena Baltacha is looking good for the third round of Wimbledon as she has already beaten her opponent today, on two other occasions. Signs are looking good for Baltacha who had done quite well on tour this season. The British lady is currently ranked 103 in the world but realistically, she knows that she has no chance of winning this title. Baltacha has a record of 21-11 this season and in her previous round, she looks impressive in destroying her opponent. Also, Elena will have the backing of her home support which will make her opponent find it even harder.

Flipkens is ranked only few places above the British lady but this year has been a forgettable year for the Belgian. She has a negative record of 11-13 and I can only see her going as far as the second round in this year's edition of the third grand slam. Previous two scoreline between the two have been 6-3 6-3 in 2005 and 6-1 6-1 in 2003. Back the home girl to advance to the third stage.
