Omiya vs Kyoto

The J league season resumes after a four week break with Omiya taking on Kyoto Purple Sanga here. During the mid season break, teams took part in the league cup matches and also some players were called up for national duty in their world cup qualifiers. Therefore this round of J league fixtures could prove interesting as many teams might start off with a slower tempo. Omiya are sitting in fifteen place, one place above the drop zone which means their position is precariously close to adversity. On the other hand, Kyoto are in mid table and will be hoping to move up to the top five.
However, Kyoto's away form reads 0-2-4 which is a very poor result. But I believe that over the last four games, they have turned the tide and if they can continue to produce such a form I do think they wil get at least a draw out of this. Omiya have their fair share of wins at home this season but are inconsistent. They can score 3 goals one week and the following week, they cannot even score. All four of their head to head matches have been very tight in recent years, I think a draw will be likely here.
