European U21 Finals

The Finland u21 side face a daunting task in their opening match against one of the hot favourites, England u21, who have a very good history in past european finals. Last time out in 2007, England made its way all the way to the semi finals before being ousted and with the form they are in the moment, Finland will be in for a hammering. In their last warm up match before the tournament, England u21 crushed aside Azerbaijan u21 by 7-0 which further proves how strong the young boys of England have transformed into in recent years. They definitely look much stronger on paper than they did in the last edition.

As for Finland u21, they will make their debut appearance in this european finals and knowing that their group consists of some of the major nations around Europe, they will find it hard not to finish dead last in the group. Germany and Spain are the other two nations besides England and Finland. As a young and experimental side, Finland u21 can consider themselves as doing the right thing at the moment as they have kept games close and even if they lose, they do it in respectable scoreline. But for today, England u21 will be way too strong for the new boys and they might be shell shocke din the opening match.
