Wigan-14.5

The Warriors have been one of the form sides over the last 6 weeks and they can cover the start in Wales.

Only 2 defeats in the last 8 for Brian Nobles men and they came in very tight low scoring games against inform Warrington and Hull Kr. Wigan have now moved into the play off positions and ofcourse have the challenge cup semi to look forward too.

It is a totally different Wigan side from the one we watched earlier in the season, far more attacking and much better to watch. Their forwards are on top form too, O'Loughlin( who will hopefully be fit)Coley,Paleaaesina and even Fielden, are laying the platform for Smith and Leuluai.

Celtic have still just that one win from 15 and lost out last week to Quins. They welcome a couple of important players back for this one, Chan and centre Hannay. But the Welsh side are still missing most of their backline due to injuries and it will no surprise if they struggle to create once again. Only 5 trys scored by Celtic in their last 3 games and 2 of they matches were at home.

Wigan have the week off next week so im sure Noble will be expecting a big performance from his players before they take a short break. They do miss a couple of stars due to england call ups but Wigan have the best reserve side in the league and plenty of young stars like Mark Flannagan who are desperate for their chance. Ainscough comes back in and every time he is recalled he grabs at least a couple of trys. He should enjoy facing Celtic as their defensive problems are always on his side of the park.

I think Wigan will be far too strong up the middle of the field for Celtic and once again we will see the Welsh side let down by poor discipline and some hopeless goal line defence.
