The last placed Washington Nationals will travel to Tampa tonight to take on the rays knowing that their woeful away record of 6-20 will still be in their head. Although they did win last night, the Tampa Bay Rays resounding 11-1 victory over the Angels was far more impressive and it could be a sign of Tampa moving in the right direction. So far this season, Tampa have struggled for form and this series presents them as an opportunity to win few more games under their belt. The Nationals are just one of the worst teams in baseball history and you would not bet on them getting anything tonight at Tropicana Field whereby it ahs been a fortree for the home team in 2009.

Matt Garza will look to add to his amazing tally of 8 quality starts this season by knocking the Nationals batters off the park and it could be a similar case of American League clubs dominating the National League clubs yet again. Besides Garza'z first eventful outing of the season, he ahs limited the opposition to four runs or less in the rest of his starts. As for Craig Stammen, his last outing against the Mets was a disastrous one and in short, his numbers would not make him a regular starter in any other MLB team.
