This is probably as easy as it can get for the New York Mets and if they fail to sweep the nationals, they will be very regretful when the time comes. The Nationals have been utterly hopeless this year and only their early good form have saved them from going further behind. Their overall record is 15-39 and that is equal to .278. For everyone's information, I cannot remember when such a team have had such an appalling record at this stage of the season and it will be more of  case of redemption from now onwards.

The Mets are not as good away from home compared to their home form. But their starting pitcher today, Hernandez has been brilliant for them this season and not for a bullpen slip up last week, he would have gone ahead with a 5-1 record already. On the other hand, The Nationals will send Stammen to the hill whereby he has only started 1 or 2 starts this season and although he managed to keep the nationals alive in his last start, he was very lucky. Go for the visitors to win this easily.
