The Rovers are a far stronger side this season with plenty of power in that forward line and players on the edges who can not only carry the ball but offload to either winger.  Dobson is having a fine season but possibly the main man is Briscoe. The ex Hull full back has chipped in with his fair share of trys and times those late support runs perfectly. If results go their way tonight Rovers could be sitting at the top of super league and that is some achievment for a side who are not that long in top flight rugby.

The Giants are having a decent season too but in recent weeks have looked a little shaky and not defended to quite the same standard. The right hand edge can be quite weak and it has to be said there are a lot of players in their side who do have a horrible habit of taking a gamble near their own try line or simply mishandling the ball and turning it over. Brown, Robinson and more often David Hodgeson, do have a habit of costing their side dear and at often the most vital times.

I expect Hull to win this game but i can also see them putting a good few points on the board 2nd half. The Giants are a side whos confidence does nosedive when they are behind on the scoreboard and we know they are a far better side on the road then at the galpharm stadium,
