Giants starters have a combined 2.03 ERA in the team's last 10 games to lower their season mark to 3.86 and their pitcher today will be Matt cain who have surprised all giants supporters this seson by being their most consistent and reliable pitcher. His revelation is a complete shock given the fact that he could not adjust to life last year and was pitching badly. Also, the Giants have a 16-8 record at AT and T Park and their last series swept just proves the point how good they are at home.

The Cardinals are also playing good baseball, winning seven out of their last nine games and certainly look like a resurgent team.
