The Indians four game sweep over the rays recently could be the positive point to kick start their season after enduring a woeful month or two which has seen them being last in their division, six and a half games behind their leaders. Cliff Lee has not been himself this year whereby he pitched magnificently throughout 2008 and was praised. This year, his win lose record currently stands at 2-5 and surprisingly or not 3 of his losses have all been at home. Only one win was credited as his home match and it goes to show Lee does not favour pitching at home.

As for NY, Petite had a no decision in his last start against the Phillies and he must be upset with himself for giving up a three run shot just before he left the mound. His record of 4-1 this year is still considered quite good and although he give up runs here and there, there is seldom a big number on the board. Go for the yankees to win this game as I believe they are still on a good run too after their series win over the hot hitting Rangers.
