Manchester United are a team that have done many firsts in their history playing football, and tonight they are going to be the first team to defend the UEFA Champions League title.

The key point for my decision is that Barcelona have been utterly useless in the backline. Their recent league games have shown that they have a tendency to concede a lot of goals and add to that important factors that their 2 full backs in Danny Alves and Eric Abidal are both missing through suspension.

Manchester United are going to start with 2 dangerous attacking wingers in either combination of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ji-Sung Park, Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs. With either of these 2 starting in the wing position, its going to be difficult espeically with the slow Puyol and Slyvinho to catch up with these guys.

Key player for Barcelona tonight will be Leo Messi, not because he has a possibility of being stopped by Evra, who is the best left back on current form, but because of his ability to cause match up problems, when he cuts in central and can either set off a shot or create a dummy for Henry and Etoo to slide in for a goal agianst a slower Edwin van der Sar.

Key Player for Manchester United would be according to the entire world would be Cristiano Ronaldo, but according to me, the game will completely depend on Wayne Rooney. The unsung hero for Manchester United especially playing in his new position lately on the left wing, it leaves Ferguson to play a similar style of football like Barcelona with 3 up front in Rooney, Ronaldo and possibly Berbatov or Tevez. Rooney's ability to track back defensively against the wing where Messi will play, and also his ability to fire shots from all angles, will definitely help his cause in being the key man for United.

Either way we look at it, we are in for a classic final here with Manchester United and Barcelona, but the defensive frailities of Barcelona, will show tonight and Manchester United should win this game.
