Barca to win more corners.

Its the final everyone wanted to see as Man Utd play Barca for the champions league trophy in Rome. United are the holders having beaten Chelsea last year and they do have a very good record against the Spanish giants who they beat in last years semi final.

It may have been a long time ago but sir alex did pick up his 1st ever european trophy at Utd when they beat Barcelona in the cup winners cup in 1991.

United were easy winners in the semi final against Arsenal.

Barca sneaked through against Chelsea thanks to a very poor refereeing performance. Maybe this is their year though and luck plays a part for every side, even the best. They didnt need any luck in the spanish league this season as they strolled the title playing some fantastic football.

I expect sir Alex to use quite negative tactics in this game, same as last year, and for Barca to have much more of the ball. He will believe if he can keep Messi quiet and frustrate them then the Utd confidence will grow. With Rooney or Ronaldo there is every chance of a goal on the break.

If you are going to stop Barca you need to give away corners. The movement they have up front is awesome and the passing from Xavi and Inesti in midfield pinpoint. I have a feeling Evra is going to have a very tough night as it looks as though he is up against Messi. Hes not had a great season and hes only recently returned to fitness.

Its also very warm in Rome at the moment and that is obviously going to suit the Spanish side.

Whatever happens tonight( i have a feeling Man Utd could sneak it on the break) i expect far more action in the Utd penalty box and this is great value on more corners for Barcelona.
