Another reason why I am backing the yankees on this game is the fact that the starting pitcher for Texas is not an out and out pitcher who can last for many innings. Derek Holland was actually called up from the bullpen to replace their injured starting pitcher few weeks back and his last start was a 5.2 innings workout which saw him yielded a three run shot in his last inning. It has been said that this could well be his last start as a starting pitcher as their pitcher has recovered.

Also, Holland has a 10.00 era in three appearances in his home ball park and that does not bode well for Rangers who will be desperately awaiting to beat the riches of the yankees. I think Burnett will finally put up a good performance after falling away from his glamorous start in the yankees uniform in his first few starts. Go for the Yankees.
