Catalans -6.5

The Dragons have recovered from a terrible start to the season and look great value to cover 6 points start at new boys Celtic.

The Crusaders got their 1st win at Bradford last week and they do go into this one with some confidence. But that would have been a very tough, physically demanding 80 mins, and it will be exactly the same against this big French pack. Crusaders dont have much power in the forward line and their best quality is the ability to throw it around or get it wide early. They can score trys, and have a very good short kicking game.

Catalans should have beaten Saints last week, they came back superbly in the second half and were unlucky not to sneak the points. They certainly look a far more confident side these days and although many will point to a poor away record we have seen them hammer Warrington at their place and although the result with Quins was close their forwards were in total control for 70 mins of that fixture.

I think that match with Bradford will have taken a lot out of Celtic and their forwards will get battered today. Catalans have some amount of power up front and guys who love to offload the ball. When they do Greenshields is often in the perfect place to support and break that line.

Guisset should have a big game for Catalans on that left side as Celtic cant defend their right hand edge and McGuire will add those scoots from dummy half which often catches out Celtics markers who are slow to set. Ofcourse Bosc will be the main man running it as usual and adding the perfect kicking game to lead his side to victory.
