Yakimova has been in scintillating form throughout 2009 and she has transformed from an unknown ordinary tennis player into a rising star. She has played in a large array of tournaments this eyar and her effort and determination has since paid off. She decided to play in the lower tier of the wta tournament last week and true or not, she came out as the eventual winner. As for Maret Ani, she has not been pro active in the tennis circuit for 2009 and at the age of 27, retirement might be the case in 2-3 years time when her legs give way.

The Bulgarian girl, Yakimova has done exceptionally well in recent weeks and it is hard not to go with her on this one and I am sure she firmly believes that she can beat the weaker opponent of Ani today, especially with the Estonian struggling to progress anywhere past the early stages of tournaments.
